Dear Ture,
Thank you for your faxes. I am sorry it is so hard to catch me on the phone!
Naturally I would like to assist you in this, but do you think I am really qualified to write a letter of support?
As we have not worked on a project together and I do not have very much experience of your work, I could only write a brief, rahter vague and perhaps not so useful letter. It is always best to get supporting letters from paople who know you and your work very well - people with whom you have had some professional involvment. I do not want to spoil your chances by writing a letter that is not based on accurate knowledge.
What do you think?
Cheers

QUEENSLAND ART GALLERY IN BRISBANE IS TOO FAR AWAY FOR NORTH QUEENSLAND.
THE DISTANCE
IS MUCH MORE THAN TWICE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN LONDON AND ROMA.
NORTH QUENSLAND DESERVE IT'S OWN NORTH QUEENSLAND ART GALLERY MUSEUM.
The Swedish/Australian artist build a highway for himself into the 21th Century already early 1960's and at the very same point in time he nullify both Pop Art and Video Art.
At the same time, 50 years ago, 1964 he publicly in an TV-interview declared that the art establishment, the fine art galleries and contemporary art museums around the western world perpetuating an anachronism and wanted no part of it.
He made himself priceless for almost any art collector and since then his works have been displayed mainly in a multi-media environement.
